My cousin-in-law and I chillin at the basin last month. Diptic edit

Headed to A-Basin on thursday this week. The forecast called for more snow than actually fell, but hey I’ll take a nearly empty resort and a soft base anyday. Montezuma Bowl was especially nice. This shot was taken from the top of west wall.

I managed to get the day off work at the last minute on having seen the snow forecast for CO. Cory and I headed for Breckenridge and we were not disappointed. My first powder day of the year, and in a bad season that has only had a handful, it was awesome. The deep stuff and lack of people made up for the fact it was bloody freezing.

Travelling to IN, TN and KY this week for work, gonna be tough not to think about all the great new snow falling in CO. I still have my cast to remind me that even if I was home I wouldn’t be able to partake in the goodness. Subconsciously decided to get orange, since its one of the few colours I haven’t had in a cast overs the years with my fracture history. It also happens to be Bronco colours.

Had an awesome day at Keystone’s Opening Day for the 2012/13 season. The River Run Car Park was rammed by 8:30, but on arriving at the gondola the queue dissapeared quickly. There were a couple of long runs open along with the A51 Terrain Park. Great stuff, Here are some shots I took. Ive been working on my park skillz, starting with a small box, coming along nicely I’d say! Hoping to complete the trilogy by going to Breckenridge opening day next friday.

Since I have allot of free time right now, I went up to Arapahoe Basin today for opening day. First resort to open in CO. I got about 20th chair. Did one run to shake off the cobwebs and hit the bar to wait for the queue to die down. Honestly amazed at how many people can turn out on a workday. The snowboarders were representing!!! Here are some shots I took plus here. Happy Times…
