My Life and Times
Capped off the 2012/13 snow season with one last session at A-Basin with my wingman Dopamean. It was pretty icy first up but it quickly softened and turned to some nice fun slush. I also broke out the 350D with peleng fisheye. Time to hang up the board and boots. Till next season….

Headed to A-Basin on thursday this week. The forecast called for more snow than actually fell, but hey I’ll take a nearly empty resort and a soft base anyday. Montezuma Bowl was especially nice. This shot was taken from the top of west wall.
Some GoPro framegrabs from ABasin this week. The guy doing the tail grab took a huge risk, if I moved at any time he would be into the trees! Pretty sick though…

Went up to ABasin again today with a mate from my old work. He wanted to learn to snowboard so I hooked him up. He was fearless, took my advice and was doing the blue ‘High noon” run (the only one currently open) after an hour. Nice one! Not working is fun, I could get used to this.
Since I have allot of free time right now, I went up to Arapahoe Basin today for opening day. First resort to open in CO. I got about 20th chair. Did one run to shake off the cobwebs and hit the bar to wait for the queue to die down. Honestly amazed at how many people can turn out on a workday. The snowboarders were representing!!! I threw together all of the best clips Ive taken from the recent snow season into this edit. Today was my last day on the mountain. Still plenty of snow around in CO but its the right time to hang up the board. Till next season….
